More than a Player
Constantly self-motivated to get better each day, Jalen’s work ethic to excel is unmatched. He contributes his success to his supportive family and plays his heart out with his mother in mind, who sacrificed so much to ensure she set him on a path of excellence.
He knows the value of giving back to those looking to play on the same level as he was fortunate enough to play on. Investing in the younger class, he enjoys showing them ways to maximize their potential by giving them the tools on and off the field.
He ultimately aspires to have a healthy family who travels the world, adding value to those he comes in contact with and developing a mental health center to lead the younger generations to a healthy lifestyle both physically and mentally.
Jalen Nailor
The three-year letter winner finished his Spartan career with 86 receptions for 1,454 yards and 12 TDs in 28 career games from 2018-21. Jalen ‘Speedy’ Nailor is a versatile playmaker finishing with 1,844 career all-purpose yards (1,454 receiving, 179 kick return, 163 rushings). He had 17 carries for 163 yards (9.6 avg) with one rushing TD, along with eight punt returns for 48 yards (6.0 ypr) and nine kick returns for 179 yards. Closed his career ranking tied for 17th in school history in TD catches (12), 16th in yards per catch (16.9), 28th in receiving yards (1,454), and 41st in receptions (86). MSU had a 20-8 record when Nailor was in the lineup, including a 9-0 mark in 2021, and led the Big Ten in yards per catch in 2020 (19.8 avg.), ranking second in 2021 (18.8 avg.).
Jalen was drafted in the 6th round to the Minnesota Vikings. He is grateful for the opportunity and understands the stature of being able to play the game he loves professionally.
